Muhammad Ali's life story was too big for one life, so it overflowed and poured into everyone else's life story too. He fought for himself and, because he was an irresistibly attractive other, he fought for them too. The sport he played didn't deserve him and its cultural significance burst when it harmed him, and it's other fighters. He's dead now. He was the heavyweight champion of the world and he, still, always punched above his weight.
